Birdwatching

Belize is the perfect country to conduct bird-watching tours in. It has several different ecosystems which attract many different native, as well as migrant birds. The types of ecosystems that can be found in the country are tropical savannah, wetlands, coastal plains, cayes or islands, and our broad leaf forests. Almost 600 species of birds have been recorded in Belize. We conduct our bird-watching tours in many of the protected areas in Belize.

Our guides will assist you in spotting many of the avian bird species such as the vibrant keel-billed toucan, blue crowned mot mot and the salty tail trogon. We can also take you in search of rare species like the agamy heron or the lovely cotinga.

Tour Duration: 7:30am to 11:30am
